ABOUT

Emerald City Judo was founded in 1999 and is currently run by Yodan Greg Dean, Nidan Mike Hiatt, and Nidan Nelson Salazar. All are Nationally certified coaches. Additionally we have many other black belt instructors including several who have grown up in our club.

We are committed to the mental and physical well being of the youth and adults of our community through the participation in the martial art and sport of Judo. One of our goals is to also help grow awareness, visibility and cultivate member talent that can help raise the level of Judo in the state of Washington through the development of our youth and adult community.

Emerald City Judo is a completely volunteer organization, we are a 501c3 organization. We love working with students to help them to meet their goals.
